A few weeks ago I was invited to document the rarely glimpsed underground of styrofoam experimentalists.  Here's the first footage.

for "Meet the Hitlers" this weekend! So many exciting actors will be reading for us. It should open up many new insights into Jerry Kolber's rapid fire dramatis personae..

BONNARD 12/02/2011

Robert Andrew Bonnard performed with legends like Grace Kelly and Jason Robards. After touring for 8 years in his acclaimed one man show called "Van Gogh's Ear" he suffered from career-ending throat cancer.

No longer able to act on stage, he taught himself to play the church organ. He told me, "I didn't learn how to play music or how to play the organ at all. Instead I learned to play 'an organist'."

This portrait was taken in the Brooklyn Heights apartment he shares with his opera enthusiast brother (who also goes by Bob). All the tapes in the background are opera recordings.

If evil exists 12/02/2011

then let its purpose be to inspire responsibility. Who are we but teenagers in a bout of self-loathing? The cop is in the head, the criminals are inside and the mess is ours.

Here's to creativity and vigilance.   May the people converge into an afternoon rain shower. May we erode the malaise of our growth pains.  May we mic check the corruption into rainbows.  May we stage our scarcity to rehearse for abundance.

Let New York Attorney General Schneiderman know that the people stand with his fight to preserve our right to hold the banks accountable for the unscrupulous practices that brought financial ruin to so many.

Support his investigation into the banking industry by signing this petition.
After weeks of intense pressure from the Obama Administration and from Schneiderman’s fellow attorneys general to support a broad settlement that would let the big banks off easy for the questionable lending practices that caused our country’s housing crisis, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman was removed from a committee of state attorneys general investigating the banking industry’s mortgage abuses.

Now Schneiderman is preparing to investigate Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and other major financial institutions for their misconduct in the mortgage markets.
